I got these headphones a while back, but wanted to give them a fair test before writing about them. So far I am very pleased with my purchase. They stay in my ears really well and they are comfortable.
I have the typical ear buds that you sort of push into the ear canal and the kind you get when you buy any apple mobile product, but they always hurt after a while. Perhaps its just the unique shape of my ears or whatever, but they make my ears ache.
When I came upon a vendor table for Yurbuds at the Health Expo I decided to give them a shot. Mine happen to have green covers, or "enhancers" as they are called, but are otherwise identical to the ones pictured. The buds really do stay put in your ears when running. Only once have then been yanked out of my ears. See I picked up our dog during a run because there was this stray dog that decided to follow us a little to closely and she went berserk! Can't really fault the Yurbuds for that one :)
I do have one complaint and it isn't totally the companies fault. The enhancers are really easy to lose. Mine came with 2 extras so I'm assuming the company is aware that they slip off pretty easily. I think it was awesome of they to include the extras mind you, but I wish they were a little more grippy. All 4 of my covers were lost within a couple months so I ordered extras from their site. As you know I have 2 kids, a dog, a husband, a job, a social life and keeping track of my earbud rubber covers doesn't exactly take top priority. Luckily they don't charge an arm and a leg for extras, plus they ship really quickly. I ordered 3 replacement sets for $10 each and when they arrived I was delighted to discover that each replacement set was actually 4 covers and not 2 like I had thought, their site now points this out much more clearly. So now I have 11 extra enhancers. If my losing trend continues I won't need to order any more for 6-8 months ... I'm joking ... well sort of ... I'm more careful not to lose them now.

I'm really interested in trying some wireless headphones because the freakin' cord drives me insane! I hate anything loose and rubbing on me while running. I wear fitted clothes and tuck the cord, which wrapped around one of those cord keeper thingies, under the strap of my sports bra so there is as little movement as possible. During the Diva 5k there were so many women with tutus or other outfits that swished and swayed while they ran. OMG I would've been committed to a psyche ward afterwards if I had to run in those things. I seriously get a itchy, red rash if something rubs my skin while I run. Thank the lord I have no issues with "Chub Rub." :) Anyways I noticed that the Yurbuds site has these wireless headphones advertised as coming soon...but if I'm not mistaken I do see wires in the photo. So that makes them wireless headphones with wires?? I'll keep my eyes on the site and see if they add any additional photos that show them a little better.
What are your favorite earbuds/headphones? Any good suggestions for some wireless ones that stay put and won't break the bank?
